Create KC, an initiative of ENGAGE, is excited to offer a $2,000 scholarship to be used toward a seminary education through Equip.
Equip is a partnership between the Midwest Conference of the ECC and North Park Theological Seminary to offer affordable and accessible seminary education.
Scripture talks about being cheerful and generous givers (2 Cor. 9). And in 1 Cor. 12, Ephesians 2/4 and Romans 12, we understand that the church has many members, but we are all part of the same body. Therefore, ENGAGE is committed to offering access to scholarship funds to both members of ENGAGE and members of other churches in KC. We believe in equipping the body to do ministry.

Students may apply for the scholarship annually. We will award the scholarship each year based upon need and availability of funds.
Students who receive the scholarship will provide a mid-semester and end-of-semester update which includes a short write-up and/or video explaining what God is doing in your life. Recipients will also help make our annual fundraiser in December a success to ensure the availability of future scholarships by inviting people to City Lights and by using your creative gifts during the event (e.g. musicians perform, culinary artists cook, etc.).
