The vision of KC for Refugees is to provide a unified platform for diverse communities to help create a welcoming environment for refugees (persons displaced by war, natural disaster, etc.) moving to and living in the greater Kansas City area.
ENGAGE helps deliver monthly care kits to refugee families.
Frequency
Monthly. We distribute bags to drivers every 3rd weekend. Drivers may deliver the bags anytime the week after receiving the bags.
Needs
- We are building teams to cover different areas of town. Each team will be responsible for delivering to their area each month based on the team member’s availability. Current areas include Overland Park, Olathe, Shawnee, Raytown, KCMO, KCK, Gladstone, Northeast. Sign up to be a driver by clicking here.
- Financial and supply donations help us continue to provide support to refugees. To make a supply donation, contact Pastor Lexi. Engage budgets $250 a month to support refugees. To donate to the Refugee Fund, visit engagesouthkc.com/give and select REFUGEE FUND.
